Shafiqur Rahman khan Yusufzai is Delhi Based Social Activist working for  prevention of Human (bride)Trafficking and honor killing in India. He was actively involved in the radical communist movement under the banner of CPI (ML) and headed Regional movement for nearly four years. Later on his intellect diverted him towards social movement and he founded CDC and opened and managed 27 non-formal education centers in Naxalite effected areas in Central Bihar. These centers were given to the local people for management and he, being free soul diverted his attention towards the pitiable condition of trafficked women. His organisation EMPOWER PEOPLE started with a 300 kilometer March Against Female Foeticide in Haryana in 2006. Currently EMPOWER PEOPLE under the leadership of Shafique is working on issues related to Gender relations and child issues. He is frequently published in leading Hindi, Urdu and English Journals and Dailies. He has also published four books on social issues.
